It’s the 4th week of January, and I’ve been hearing and witnessing a lot of people being hard on themselves because they’ve already blown their New Year’s resolutions.
Big deep breath.
It’s OK. Give yourself some grace. You are trying to change old habits using sheer will power – and sometimes that can work, but often it doesn’t… especially when there is stress, those old habits will jump right back in and take up – what seems to be – permanent residence.

I recognize I have been hard on myself for what I haven’t done.
Instead I will be kinder to myself and focus on how I want to BE.
I could be hard on myself for what I haven’t done, or I can be kinder to myself by focusing on my intention – how I want to BE. I choose.
I am free to move forward with the intention of how I want to BE.
I know what it’s like to have a clear intention I did it when I accomplished… (complete with a real example!)
I am focusing on how I want to BE and I’m open to the support I need to successfully move to what I desire.
I appreciate my commitment to BEing a better version of myself and creating what I desire.
